What were you up to 3 Summers ago? Did things turn out as expected?

We had high hopes for a barrel aged mead, fermented from 3 buckets of beautiful clover blossom honey. This summer, after tasting the results, we decided a boozy traditional offering is not what’s called for this season.

So we diluted it down to a refreshingly crushable 5.6% abv, and added a hint of passion fruit and citrus to brighten it up. Safe to say it’s a perfect juicy fit to this summer heat and long afternoons.

Cheers to things not turning out as expected, but exactly as they should.

“3 SUMMERS AGO” 5.6% abv. Clover blossom honey mead aged 3 years, with a hint of passion fruit and citrus added.
