We invite you to celebrate National Bison Day with us on November 4, 2023. As you may know, bison are an iconic symbol of the American West and have played an essential role in our country’s history. These majestic and magnificent creatures thrived and provided sustenance to all those around them.

Bison symbolize resilience and restoration. They once numbered over 30 million but were tragically decimated for many reasons. Their recovery is a grassroots success story that includes ranchers like us.

This day is dedicated to our National Mammal. Their continued restoration is dependent on private ranchers selling their meat. Their nutrient-dense meat is tender and delicious.

Halloween is known as the Day of the Dead. But for me, it has a much different meaning.

“You have step-endocarditis.” And with those words, I was informed that my Halloween costume ten years ago would be a surgical gown.

Today, I celebrate my Tenth Alive Day. Yes, it is the 10th anniversary of my emergency open-heart surgery. This was not what I had in mind, but here I am, thriving with my mechanical heart valves. Take three minutes for a glimpse into our story and why we do what we do.

Here it is! We’ve got The Gold! Our Palisade Peach Mustard.

It is the perfect condiment for our 100% Bison Bratwurst. It also goes great on burgers or as a rub on brisket and burnt ends.

Today is the last Farmers Market of the season in Estes Park. It is at the Visitor Center from 8-1.

Saturday is also the end of the season for the Westminster Farmers Market. It runs from 9:00 am - 1:30 pm at the corner of 98th and Sheridan.

Sundays we are at the Fort Collins Farmers Market at Harmony and Lemay from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. Weather permitting we will be there until the middle of November.
