I have day dreamed of having my own farm, spending countless hours reading gardeners blogs, scrolling through pinterest for tips and tricks, visiting local farms to inspire me, drawing my ideas, and writing plans for what could one day be. g with many other herbs, vegetables, and flowers off my patio in the spring and summer. Every chance I had to work on my mini garden brought light to my heart. This year, I wanted so badly to keep my tiny patio farm going, so I decided to give it a shot by crossing my fingers and moving everything into my spare room that has always allowed for the most beautiful natural sunlight. Very quickly I noticed not only were my plants happy and healthy in their new home but they were thriving. I'd finally found the perfect spot to expand my tiny patio garden into whatever I wanted it to be. Behind the Name
When I was a young girl I came to know the power of my heart. I knew I was meant to share something beautiful with the world. I knew I was strong enough - some may even say loud enough - to spread a message of love. I stood strong behind my belief that the extent of our capabilities is determined solely by our mindset. If we believe we can do something, we will do it. If we believe we can't, we will fail. This mindset became my force. At the very beginning it was like a tiny voice telling me to keep going, but every time my force proved its capabilities it grew larger. Now, my tiny force has grown into a power so strong I can feel it in my bones. It wakes me every morning, moves me through my days, and is the director of my dreams. My Passion
I believe the best way to spread a message of love to our bodies, our friends, our family, and the world around us is by giving the gift of health. After all, the gift of health tends to be a packaged deal. It brings with it the gift of happiness, the gift of gratitude, and the force to spread the message farther. I've found along the path of "what do I want to be when I grow up" that every avenue I took, 3 things remained - I want to bring things to life, I want to spread my message of love, and I want to get my hands dirty in the process. With my force driving me to achieve my goals, my stubborn German heritage, and my mother's motto of "girls can do anything - even p*e standing up" (We'll save that story for a later blog post!) I decided to start Tiny Forces. My Goals and Dreams
Eventually I would like to take Tiny Forces and expand even further. My dream is to one day have a home or space where I can build a much larger greenhouse. I would continue to grow micros, but add sprouts, mushrooms, edible flowers, wildflowers, and exotic flowers to my farm. Away from my home I would like to own a floral shop, and create beautiful arrangements using the flowers I grow at home. My dreams will likely take quite sometime before they come true but hey - every wild dream come true has to start out as a tiny little force.
