Haven’t heard any buzzing over the past few days since the Arctic Blaster took hold of our region. Popped the top on this 50° day after knocking and getting no answer. No one’s home.
Gonna clean things up and get ready to catch some swarms in April. 🤞🏻

Today’s walk in the garden reinforced the lesson:
Building Relationships is Always better than Waging War.

When you don’t plant monocrops,(ie Isolation) and you don’t use pesticides, (ie force your will on another culture) and you companion plant. (Celebrate diversity) the following happens.

tomatoes bring the hornworms bring the parasitoid wasps. It takes time to establish the relationships but when you do…

You get a ton of tomatoes and the bees are safe and happy without having to resort to chemical warfare.
