This says it all.
Today marks 1 year since the passing of a Texas BBQ Icon. The John MF Brotherton! It’s crazy to think that one year has already gone by. Words can’t express how much we all miss you John. John’s mission was to build a strong bbq community. To unite people from all over the world through Texas BBQ. We’d say he did a damn good job of accomplishing that goal. Although much was still left to be done. He laid down the foundation to connect so many people within the community. Never afraid of sharing his bbq tips and tricks. His smile would light up a room and he was always the life of the party.
Be sure to cherish every moment you get to spend with your loved ones. Tomorrow isn’t promised. Create as many countless memories as you can. Live life to the fullest. Let us all live by John’s motto and continue to create “pimp sh*t” on a daily! Thank you to all the regulars that continue to support us. To our staff that is currently with us. Thank y’all for everything you do on daily. John would’ve been proud.
Lastly, we know you’re smiling from up above John🕊️🕊️ we miss you buddy and we’ll continue to strive and roll out the best BBQ in your honor.
P.S if you’ve made it this far into the post. If you didn’t already know, John was a huge Tyler Childers fan. This was one of his favorite songs.
Sorry Facebook users yall can’t hear the song that was attached to this post on instagram. The song is “All Your’n” by Tyler Childers.
