A little before and after from one of our bee yards! 🐝🍯
We recently purchased some hives at this location, and as you can see, they were in need of a little cleaning up! After plenty of cutting, trimming, and clearing, we’ve got this yard opened back up and ready to grow.
With the number of hives we’re running now, we’ve been needing additional locations, and this spot in Bowdon looks like it could be one of the best bee yards we’ve ever had. There is an incredible amount of natural forage around it—flowers, trees, and plenty of diverse vegetation for the bees to work throughout the season.
Once we bring our bees back from the Sourwood flow in the North Georgia mountains, we plan to move more colonies into this yard.
A lot of work goes into finding and maintaining good locations for our bees, but seeing a place like this come together makes it worth it. We’re excited to see what these bees can do here! 🐝🌼🌳
