Just some beautiful little touches I added to my mother’s side porch. It has been so healing to my heart to continue to take care of her space and keep it beautiful just like I would have when she would have been here. She was just about 2 months shy of moving in with us when she passed away. 🌷

I made this 💦 🪷water fountain with a pillar I found on sale for $10 bucks….. and then grandma Tracey wheeled and dealed an Amish man and got me this metal basin for $5 bucks! I stuck in some water hyacinth 🪷and a cheapie solar spritzer 💧and here we have us a DIY old fashioned, vintage water fountain. 🥹💦

I made a new friend! She brought me a loaf of her apple cinnamon sourdough bread yesterday as part of a barter and it was incredible! Please give her a follow. I’m so blessed and so thankful to be making these wonderful connections with people in our community. ❤️🍞

John Schmid is an American country and folk singer and songwriter who is popular among the Amish and Old Order Mennonites. He sings songs both in English and Dutch. If you could see the insane amount of garlic underneath all this- you would be appalled. My husband will be very appalled later. 🤣😮‍💨😷
