Were open! The baby buzzinga to the rescue!

Were running on half power. I can do blended drinks, hot drop coffee, bullicious, Italian sodas, frappes, matcha, chais, and white coffee frappes. My espresso machine is down!

I am going to grab the trailer right now and will be back with it soon. Then I will be able to have it all.

Thank you so much to the power companies. Lineman, and individuals who are working to restore power to the town.

**Opening late!**

Update: We're have power. Bumping to 7:30 for opening but see you all soon for coffee!

Please be advised that due to no power at the shop, we will be opening late at 7am! We want to give our staff time to get in and will be assessing the power situation again at 6:30.

We want to MEET YOU & we want to GREET YOU.

Don't forget, tomorrow morning at 7am is our Meet & Greet! We're looking for a new barista to join our team/Buzzinga family and we're excited to get to know you.

For those of you that can't make it at 7am tomorrow, we will have a SECOND Meet & Greet on Saturday (20th) at 7am. This is mostly because I forgot to text the people that have already dropped resumes to invite them 🙈 and because we know that some couldn't make it and we promised an alternate date.

Want to 💙 your job. We're going to be hiring part time. This could move to full time. We want to get to know you, but first here's what WE need.
-18 + or homeschooled. With our current hours, I need more than what a teenager in high school can offer.
-Availability on weekends
-Kind and friendly
-Teachable
-This is a Christian Coffee Shop, so loving Jesus is a huge plus.
-Must be able to work 3+ days a week
-Long term. This is not seasonal.
-We dont currently have a shift that works for school pick up and drop off (so must have childcare or a plan for one or the other if hired)
-Drama free (first check on this is honestly your Facebook 😉)
I truly believe that I can teach a monkey to make coffee, but I can't teach someone to have a good personality.

If you want to work for one of the coolest, funnest, and best coffee shops around (we're biased) then come in for the first step, THE MEET AND GREET, Wednesday morning at 7am!

Why so early?? Because if you're not able to be up by 7am, then you wont be ready for our amazing customers, whom we love, at 5:30am when we open. Please bring a resume with you (even if you have dropped one so far.) We will be sending out a text inviting anyone who has dropped a resume too. If you cant make this time, I.E. you have another job, come talk to Salish for an alternate time.

This is a 3 interview process. Why? Because we hire with intention. This isnt just a coffee shop. This is Buzzinga!

Transparency- $9 an hour starting out
Real life- we do not pool tips and not a single one of my girls makes $9/ an hour.
Raise after 6 months. Because we 💙 you.
Option for continuing education including paid food manager card and maybe trips with the crew!

We have a barista leaving us in August for college. 😢 We do understand, I guess. But it really does take me over 1 month to train a barista (crazy right), because we LOVE great coffee. And so do you.

Coffee Fest Chicago 2025 was a win! We literally drove through a tornado to get there. But we had the best time. We took A LOT of classes! Everything from customer relations, menu development, successful training techniques and guides, cold brew 101, maintainence on our machines, expansion 😉, and what will probably be your favorite, drink trends and recipes. We found some new great products for the trailer and the shop. We are back home feeling overwhelmed, educated, and more excited than ever about our favorite place, Buzzinga!
We're so grateful for our coffee Roasters, Dillano's Coffee Roasters (DCR) for doing hands on training with us. And for the continued education and support.
This was a trip for the books! 📚
