As a breeder the thing I like the most is the connection we make with our kids and families. This spring we meet a young girl from Virginia at our 1st sale . My sister Lisa and I got to talk with her during the sale . She really made an impression. 2 weeks after the sale she made contact about how to feed rascal her pig .
As the summer has gone on it’s been steady updates from her . This summer has been as busy as any . I’ve been very limited in farm visits . I knew I had to make the 3 1/2 hour drive this morning to see this young girl and rascal .
To my surprise she made us this sign as a sign of appreciation. It truly meant a lot to us here .
Sometimes we get caught up in how many banners we can hang . Today showed me what it’s all about . This girl has already won in our eyes and hearts.

The knife talk litter arrived this morning . We’re down to our last 2 litters to farrow of the 21 bred this summer . We’ll be sorting pigs later today for payle and farmshow pigs born end May into June . Barn opens next weekend call for appointment. Will let everyone know soon on sale options .
