The queen bee has been released and is a happy girl!

Today marks our one year anniversary so we've taken a few days off to celebrate in Southern California. We'll be back home tomorrow in Nevada and will be getting into our hives to inspect and make sure the queen has been released from the cage and is now mated and laying. Once the queen does her mating flight, she is now mated for life and can lay 2,000 eggs per day on average.

If you wanna help save the bees, stop using harmful pesticides/weed killers. If you spray a flower and a bee lands on it to collect pollen, the bee is now poisoned. I make a vinegar, Epsom salts and dish soap solution just for non-flowering weeds.
