Carson Confections was founded in 2012 by sisters Blair and Jamie Gilliam and their cousin Katie Christopher. ions has you covered. Christmas and Thanksgiving usually are our busiest times of year, but we offer weekly specials so you can enjoy our baked goods throughout the year. Carson Confections' best and most famous item has to be Grandma's Classic Fruitcake. For years the fruitcake has been at the center of endless jokes, but we're trying to change all that. When someone says they don't like fruitcake, it's probably because they've never had Grandma's Classic Fruitcake. An old family recipe passed down through three generations, our fruitcake is loaded with hand cut pecans, walnuts, Brazil nuts, red cherries, green cherries, and pineapple. All of these nuts and fruits are held together by a rich batter flavored with a mixture of special spices that gives Grandma's Classic Fruitcake it's unique and delicious taste. Two years ago, we began practicing and honing our fruitcake making skills with our grandma's guidance. Last Christmas we were very proud when our grandma gave our fruitcake two thumbs up. Although baking fruitcakes is a very long and tedious process, the end results are well worth it. As long as we can remember, our grandma has always made fruitcakes and we want to carry on her tradition while allowing more people to have the opportunity to taste Grandma's Classic Fruitcake.
