We had the distinct pleasure of visiting Red's Soda Fountain in Sevierville, Tennessee. What a treat it was being on the other side of the counter!

Just like the Jerks, they're tucked into a historic downtown and opened just a few months before we did. We got to compare notes, peek behind the curtain, swap stories, and phosphate philosophize with Nate Van Zuiden, the owner. Meanwhile, Rachel the soda jerk (yes, another Rachel!) mixed up our treats and kept us properly fizz-fed the whole visit. 😉

Loving the history, craft, and culture of soda fountains is a unique little tribe, and it felt genuinely special to share that connection with people who understand it so well.

We absolutely love what they’ve created at Red’s, wish them tremendous success, and raise a soda glass to cheer them on. If you find yourself visiting Pigeon Forge or passing through the area, be sure to stop in and give them a visit!
