Holly calf update

•Born early
•SMALL calf (size of small lab dog) •stand completely under his mama when nursing
•Nursing well
•Full of energy
•His mama keeps him in the shade a lot
•he lets everyone pet him
(he’s a PET) 😂
He will be available in January & his $ will go to FCA Bartow

Pre-selling beef boxes! Ground beef and mixed grilling boxes can be set for as many pounds as you want. Although the mixed boxes have a 10lb minimum, a 50% deposit is required to secure your order.

Holly calf update•
Born 7 days ago but was 1 month early. He didn’t have the strength to stand & nurse his mom. Alot of intensive care by Margaret Martin. We have tube fed / bottle fed & whole lot of vitamins & prayer. This baby is still SMALL but big fight. He is now up nursing mom. Running away from us & WIDE OPEN! We aren’t in the clear yet but we are closer than we were!

Mom stays in my care but belongs to the STEER Inc her calf will be sold at weaning age whenever I determine that is
The proceeds from the calf goes to FCA Bartow to help spread the gospel of Jesus Christ in our schools
I’m excited to be able to support this program & I encourage other farmers to jump in with us

Our 1st “holy cow”(read at end) has given birth
“ Fergie” was born here on 7/22/24
She was the 1st heifer I had born & is just a big ole pet & has always been
She has given birth to her 1st calf.
She is doing everything as she should be doing natural instincts.

On Saturday, we observed a decline in 45/26's body condition, prompting her relocation to the barn. Despite exploring all available options and taking every possible measure, 45/26 unfortunately succumbed. Although she was an animal under our care, our objective remains centered on providing an optimal quality of life.
