🐄 Creep feeding for strong, healthy calves

All creep feeds need two key things:

➡ Enough starch – at least 40% of DM to produce butyric acid and support rumen development.

➡ Good feed flow – 100% pellets can clog, but a 50/50 mix of pellets and grain or a cracked grain mix works well (just clean the feed area weekly).

The right feed helps calves grow fast while building a fully functional rumen.
