Carroll Family Farms Carroll Farms is a family run operation that produces corn, soybeans, and hogs based in Carthage, IL. The family has been farming for five generations.

The Carroll family has been farming in Hancock County for five generations, with three generations currently active. Darel Carroll took over for his father, Floyd, in the 1950's. Now in his late 80's, Darel is still out everyday helping out on the farm. Come harvest, you'll be able to find him in the combine everyday. Darel's sons, Dan and David, entered the operation after finishing school in the 1970's. Since then, the expansion has really accelerated. As new family members join the operation, the wisdom and passion that is passed down keeps the operation running smoothly. Carroll Farms strives to focus on family orientation, and with the generations keeping that in mind, the farm continues to create continued success in the grain and swine industry.

We are a Family Farm looking for a Truck Driver to haul mainly weaned pigs and feeder pigs.

Responsibilities

Show up on time for loading and delivering hogs.
Handling and moving pigs in a safe and responsible manner that is compliant with Trucker Quality Assurance standards.
Inspecting Tractor/Trailer equipment and verifying mechanical safety
Occasionally haul market hogs as needed.
Hauling grain or feed products when no pigs to haul and during fall.

Qualifications

Valid Class A CDL with medical card
Hard working and willingness to help
Benefits

Mainly all local runs and home every night.
