What does purchasing a foal in utero through Holt Ranch actually mean and how is your financial investment protected?
One of the biggest concerns when purchasing a foal before it’s born is the unknown. We understand that, which is why every mare and her unborn foal offered in utero through Holt Ranch is fully insured.
If your foal doesn’t make it to term, doesn’t survive birth, or an unforeseen circumstance prevents you from receiving the foal you purchased, all money you’ve paid toward that foal is refunded.
You may also choose to apply those funds toward another available foal instead, the choice is yours.
Purchasing in utero gives you the opportunity to secure a thoughtfully planned cross early, while knowing your financial investment is protected throughout the pregnancy and foaling process.
