The stand is open today with the last of the 2026 dahlias! Thank you all for a wonderful season! 💕🧡

Now my focus turns to cutting down the plants, digging, washing, dividing, and storing thousands of tubers for the winter. And tulip bulbs will be arriving soon, followed by more peony roots, so there’s still lots of work ahead to prepare for a beautiful spring!

After days and days of rain — well over 7 inches! — and some seriously strong winds, I’m very happy to report that the dahlias made it through!

There are certainly a few that are looking a little worse for wear, but overall everything held up incredibly well. Now I’ll give the field a few days to dry out, recover, and really get back to blooming.

The flower stand will be back to its regular schedule this weekend:
Friday: 2–7 PM
Saturday & Sunday: 9 AM–6 PM

Thank you to everyone who checked in over the last few days! I’m looking forward to having the stand stocked back up with fresh blooms this weekend — and hopefully we still have plenty more flowers ahead of us before the season comes to an end in a few weeks!

The last harvest before the storm. Every bloom is out of the field and the plants are cut back a little extra to give them their best chance of staying upright. Hopefully all this prep means plenty more flowers on the other side of the storm! 🤞🏼

Well, it looks like we have a nor’easter heading our way… and obviously you’ll need flowers while you’re stuck inside through the crazy weather!

I initially planned not to grow sunflowers this year after battling the rabbits all last season. But when some space opened up in the fenced-in area, I knew I needed to add them 💛

Sunflowers will be stocked in the stand this weekend!

Quantities are somewhat limited, so grab them while they last! And of course, we’ll have plenty of dahlias too!

That’s a wrap on our spring and early summer blooms!

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by the stand each weekend and to my dedicated florist customers—I’m so grateful for all of your support!

For July and early August, I’ll be focusing on the dahlias (weeding, netting, fertilizing… and then definitely more weeding) while keeping the rest of our fall flowers growing.

Once the dahlias begin blooming in mid-August, the stand will reopen and remain stocked with fresh flowers through the fall! 🎉
