The stand will be stocked and ready for another weekend! 🌸 I’ll have fresh bouquets filled with the best of what’s blooming right now—including campanula, sweet William, snapdragons, feverfew, and more.

Thank you all for a busy weekend at the stand! It’s great to be back after a few weeks without flowers blooming.

One question I was asked this weekend was, “Where do all these flowers come from?”

Everything you see at the stand is grown right here on the farm. Every bouquet is made from flowers I’ve planted, grown, and harvested myself. What you see at the stand is truly local and seasonal 💚

We’ll be open again next weekend!

A moment for the peonies 💕

I’ll have a few tucked into bouquets this weekend, but they’ll be limited. Peony season here won’t really hit its stride until next year—and the years that follow.

Here’s the deal: about 50 of my plants are in their second year, so I’m harvesting a limited number of stems from those. Another 130 were planted just last fall. During their first year, I remove the buds so the plants can focus their energy on developing strong root systems. And this fall, I’ll be planting another 200.

So there will be many, many beautiful peonies here in the future—it’s just a bit of a waiting game. But if you’ve ever met a peony, you know they’re absolutely worth it. 🤍

If you haven’t experienced campanula yet, you’re going to love her! 🤍

These adorable bell-shaped blooms have been growing since last October are finally ready for their moment. They’re one-and-done, meaning they bloom just once and their season is short, so availability at the stand will be limited—most likely just this weekend and next.

Dahlia tuber planting has been in full force these last few weeks. I’m a little more than halfway through and hoping to finish by next weekend! 🤞🏼

A lot of work now for thousands of beautiful blooms later. Looking forward to sharing them with you this summer and fall!

While all of this has been happening, our late-spring flowers have started coming into bloom, so the stand will be open this weekend. Stay tuned for more details—but yes, there will be peonies! 💕

This right here was my favorite new tulip this year. I love the color, the huge blooms, and she even has a light sweet smell that reminds me of peonies. I already doubled my order of this variety for next year!

Also, funny fact (that’s actually not funny at all): I can’t keep flowers in the house because one of our cats will do absolutely anything to get to them no matter where I put them 🙄😅

With some new followers, I figured it was probably time for an official introduction. I’m Justine — the grower behind these flowers.

I started growing a few years ago after selling my horse and deciding I needed some time away from the equestrian world (horses had been a huge part of my life for 30+ years). I had always gardened vegetables and herbs, but never really flowers… so naturally I went all in.

I named this growing venture after Peter — my best friend, who I had 12 wonderful years with. He’s also who I originally started growing vegetables and herbs for.

Outside of this, I work full time in the human services field. Before my current role, I spent several years working in MA public schools as a Director of Pupil Services/Special Education.

A few other fast facts: I love family, animals (except snakes), ice cream, the Cape, and Snopp Dogg.

My goal is simple: grow beautiful flowers and share them with this community. Thanks for being here 🤍

Wow — what a weekend! 🌷💕 The flower stand was busy from open to close all weekend long, and every time I restocked, you all showed up again and again. Thousands of specialty tulips went out the door to both new visitors and lots of repeat customers.

Thank you for every purchase, every kind message, every share, every recommendation to a friend, and every stop at the stand this weekend. I am incredibly tired 😅 but also incredibly grateful.
