Travis D (Sheep-Eater) bringing the new Hyde Drift Boats power drifters into camp for fishing season. These boats punch way above their weight class and are the most versatile fly fishing platforms the River of No Return has ever seen.

It’s not Thursday but I seem to always be sorting memorabilia and photo albums(10 totes ! ) and today I slipped these old brochures in to my “Take to Jessica” pile.

1978 was the year I went to work at Shepp Ranch. Mom ( Jinny) and Michael already worked for Shepp, along with my brother Paul and brother in law George. The company was a combination under the umbrella Wilderness Encounters which held Wild Rivers Idaho rafting company and had permits on every river. It was big and dynamic.

Forever grateful for these mentors.
