We are in search of a reliable, responsible, and hardworking individual to join our team as a full time milking technician. We milk 240 cows in a swing 12 parlor twice a day (4 am / 4 pm). Duties include: set up of equipment, handling cows with care, mastitis detection, following our milking procedures, cleaning of parlor and milking equipment, and other duties as assigned. Today is our final day of cleaning out our compost bed pack barns. We do this once a year, every fall, after corn silage harvest. 5 manure spreaders/tractor drivers, 4 semi loads of sawdust, 3 days to do it, 2 barns, and 1 loader driver. We also clean out all the straw bed packs for our heifers as well. Enjoy some videos, and check out the album for more pictures!
