Meet Emilia & Adeline.
Mia & Addie are the family in family farm. These girls spent their first 5 years farming in Porter Maine (and yes, they did farm starting around age 3) before moving to Casco to help build the farm were at now.
For years they single handedly produced a farms worth of watermelons, and spent countless hours stewarding pigs and chickens. They are both constant conspirators in our farm system, and these days put in real hours in the field offering irreplaceable labor, leadership, and expertise.
Mia & Addie have the indispensable & unique perspective of growing up farming, a perspective that allows them to see elements of this farm that are obscured to the rest of us, and in turn, year over year, they appreciably improve our farm.
Emilia & Adeline are brilliant, hard working, hilarious, kind, and generous women. If you haven't already, introduce yourself next time you see them around the farm.
