🎡 Day 2 of the Wisconsin State Fair 🎡

It was an incredible day on our Day 2 of the Wisconsin State Fair! Savannah and Wyatt both exhibited their Fitted Suffolk ewes in the junior breeding sheep show. We are extremely grateful for their achievements and how the evolution of our flock is displayed through their exhibits. We are looking forward to the rest of the week and weekend as we move into Rotation 2 Open Show! 🐑

Always choose the livestock barn. Not because it’s convenient.
Not because it fits into a perfectly planned day.
But because it’s the one place that has never asked me to pretend.

The livestock barn doesn’t care how tired you are.
It doesn’t care what kind of day you’ve had
or how heavy my worries feel. It just waits for you to show up.
To do the work.
To take responsibility.
To care for something bigger than yourself.

In the barn, effort matters more than appearance.
Consistency matters more than excuses.
And the quiet moments teach lessons that no classroom ever could.

When life feels overwhelming, the barn feels grounding.
When everything around you feels rushed,
the rhythm of chores slows you down.

There’s something about the sound of feed hitting buckets,
the shuffle of hooves in fresh shavings,
and the steady routine of daily care
that brings you back to what really matters.

So always choose the livestock barn.
Because it’s more than a place.
It’s where work turns into pride,
responsibility turns into character,
and effort turns into purpose

Friday evening, Wyatt and Crystal arrived home from visiting Ireland 🇮🇪 for 10 days on an Agricultural Tour. It was beautiful and learned a great deal about the different farming from beef, sheep, dairy, horses, oysters, strawberries, apples, potatoes, herbs, vegetables, bamboo and more!
