People often ask where the name Black Forest Flour Shop came from and this is it right here: The Black Forest cake.

This cake reflects my appreciation for old-world baking. The kind of baking that values quality ingredients, technique, and recipes made from scratch. In a world of convenience and instant gratification, there is something really special about slowing down and making things the way they were meant to be made.

So when I dreamed up Black Forest Flour Shop, I imagined it as something out of a storybook. A quiet cottage tucked deep within an enchanted forest, where cakes cool on windowsills, recipes are passed down through generations, and baking is done with care.

Simple, beautiful, and timeless. 🖤

Even with posting week 1’s menu late and having only two days to pre-order, the response was great!

Some shared with their co-workers, some were excited to have breakfast for their kids before camp, and some are planning to enjoy them on vacation this week.

With that, I’m excited to announce next week’s flavor line up that will be available for pick up on Monday (6/15).

Your breakfast club box will feature fresh fruit and 14 freshly baked pastry items made with the quality ingredients you’ve come to expect from BFFS.

Each week, you’ll received a curated box of 14 delicious baked goods and fresh fruit.

Next week’s box includes:
