My mother, Nelva Navarro, is in critical condition and urgently needs spinal surgery after suddenly losing the ability to walk. Two hospitals in Atlanta were unable to diagnose her, and she was flown to Mexico, where doctors found a severe abdominal infection and a tumor pressing on her spine.

She has no medical insurance, and her savings are gone. We’re trying to raise $10,000 to cover her surgery and emergency care. If you can donate or share, it would mean everything to us.

Hello Plateau family,

We hope that everyone is having a great Christmas so far!

We would like to apologize to those amazing clients that didn’t receive their charcuterie boards for Christmas.

As you all know, we experienced power outages for the last couple of days and we were unable to provide our services. It is our wish to always provide the best service to all of you, but this was out of our control.

We hope to continue to serve you well in future and thank you to those who have reached out to us and expressed understanding and support!

Do I keep my charcuterie box/board in the fridge?🤔
Yes, if you do not plan to serve
immediately. We do recommend taking the board out of the fridge 30-40 minutes before serving as it is best served at room temperature. 😊🧀

Good cheese – is a living product. If given a chance, it will develop mould – but that mould is rarely, if ever, bad for you. “Like the rind, it will pe*****te in a tiny way and may change the taste of the cheese very slightly,” says Iain Mellis, a cheesemonger of 40 years, “but it’s not dangerous.” Indeed, a streak of blue mould in a hard cheese like a cheddar is considered a good thing, adding complexity and depth. White mould should be cut off, says Hinds, simply because it will taint the flavour. Likewise brown and grey moulds are also best sliced off, but for taste reasons rather than health.
