Do y’all ever feel like you have the weight of the world on your shoulders?

Responsibilities, worries, future goals.. they stack up until our focus shifts from eternal things to temporary burdens.

It’s easy to start measuring our worth by what we accomplish, what we fix, what we carry, or what we “need to” do INSTEAD of remembering Who we belong to and why we were created.

When we fix our eyes on Jesus, everything changes. The distractions don’t disappear, but they lose their power. Our purpose isn’t found in striving.. it’s found in A B I D I N G. It’s found in walking with Him, trusting Him, and SHARING Him. Jesus didn’t call us to carry the world.. He called us to follow Him and to make disciples of the nations.

When life is heavy or you’re feeling inadequate — flip to Colossians 3:2 and then Matthew 6:19-20!!

I, for one, am so thankful for the steadfast love of The Lord💞

I’m beyond HONORED to be one of the nominees for Oil City’s Best “Bakery” for 2026!

As a homemaking wife and homeschooling momma— My dream has and always will be to be fully present for every adventure, memory, and slow, precious moment with my family.. I operate my cottage bakery part-time from my home kitchen so just to be considered for an award like this is just INCREDIBLE.

Lasiter Homestead has grown into a therapeutic outlet, a ministry to me, and getting to know so many awesome folks in this community has blessed my soul!

To every single person who has caught a pre-order, shared a post, stopped by my booth at a market, taken a class, or simply encouraged me along the way.. your love is NOT lost on me. Thank you for welcoming my bread to your tables, your homes, and your family traditions. I THANK GOD FOR Y’ALL!
