Bowigens Beer Company is an American Craft Brewery located in Casselberry, Florida. At Bowigens, we consider ourselves artistic brewers. We’re not interested in creating a beer unless we feel we’re making something that we are truly passionate about. We use ingredients to expand flavor, not cut cost. Perceptions." A little history...
Although just coming to fruition in 2014, plans for Bowigens started many years and many more beers ago. Long-time friends Kevin Wigen and Bobby Bowen met while playing in bands in the Orlando area. After years in the music scene, the two decided to stop traveling as much and dive into a new adventure. Brewing was a natural choice, as both fell in love with the creative aspect of it. Bobby moved back to Orlando and started working at a local brewery. After a lot of time learning the ropes, Kevin and Bobby agreed it was time to take the next step. The two begin pumping out beers, building equipment and cleaning — lots and lots of cleaning. All the while, perfecting their recipes and planning the next stages of their business. Three years and a few award-winning beers later, what you see is the result of a lot of hard work and dedication. We love being able to create our beers and share them with people. It's the ultimate medium. For people who say they just don’t like beer, we say you’re wrong — you just haven’t had the right one yet! It's the most versatile drink on the planet, and we can’t wait to share ours with you. Bowigens is a craft brewery and we take the word craft very seriously. We rely on a strong balance between art and science. We pride ourselves on being artistic brewers. Quality is of utmost importance to us, so we will never put out anything that we don't stand behind 100 percent. We don’t believe in putting limitations on our beers. We brew for taste, not for style — and not for antiquated brewing “laws.”
