The end of a decade of championship Californian rabbit breeding. We are officially down to our last younger momma doe and 2 BOB bucks. Cleaning up empty cages, water bottles, etc. Letting our beautiful remaining stock to run. 💞😔

Auction day! Breece wore her Grand Champion belt buckle and looked beautiful for auction day. Huge thank you to Hartford Glass Co. and Elk Park Feed Store for purchasing her bunnies. 9 yrs of working on breeding her own rabbits! Thank you to MAC Rabbits, and Jon and Laura Blough.

I love being a club key leader for Legacy 4-H! 🍀
Felt old when I saw this sign at Fair Oak's Farm. Guess I'm late 1900's now.

Cass County Fair 2023 is done and what a year! Wonderful rabbit barn improvements by the new superintendents (Jon & Laura Blough), Owen's last year in 4-H with a bang, Breece winning Reserve Champion Californian Breeder. 💞

Doesn't matter if Owen is now an adult.... he still loves Taco baby. B&O's oldest champion lines buck, that got us started, and the kids first home grown Californian. 🩷 Happy Birthday Taco (4/12/2019)!

It would be a spring miracle if Taco did what no other Cal buck could do...Laura (Cal doe) may be bred, two fall offs! 🙌🤞

It's time to make a hard choice, do we continue with chickens or not? I'm in love with these Lavender ones.

Heritage breeds like the Orpington are reliable and come in a variety of colors. The Lavender Orpington breeds true and is excellent at mothering. Family-friendly flocks love having Lavender Orpingtons in the coop because they're so huggable and friendly. Add some to your January 3rd chick order and see why they're among the most popular breeds!
