Apple (and grape, cider, etc) harvest is in full swing at Diamond Lake Orchard! Our first bushes of Honeycrisps and Macintosh apples are picked and ready for purchase. Now available: Honeycrip, Gala, Jonathan and Macintosh. Swing by and check it out! Shed is open for self serve from 10am to 6pm seven days a week for the season. We accept cash and venmo in the Apple Shed or credit card in the winery on Friday and Saturdays.

The orchard and winery officially opens on August 19th and we are looking forward to seeing you this fall!

Besides watching our new grape vines grow, we are introducing two new wine varieties to our menu -- Diamond Isle Sauvignon Blanc and Sail Bay Cabernet Sauvignon.

This year we are offering our 12oz Sandbar Hard Cider in 4pack which can be mixed and matched to try Apple, Apple-Cherry or Apple Cinnamon hard cider flavors.

And we now have Venmo capabilities in our Apple Shed, and an updated interior.

Apple season has officially started! Currently harvested - Molly Delicious & Macintosh apples. Next week Gala and Honey Crisps will be harvested and available. Of course, we have crisp apple cider!

Apple shed is open 7 days a week from 10am to 6:00pm, Winery open Saturdays and Sundays from 1pm to 5pm .

It is a busy time at the Orchard. With the warm weather, everything is growing, and the Apple trees are putting out fruit. The beehives have been split and the honey supers have been added all in preparation for the honey harvest in mid-August. We planted 221 grape vines in the front of the Orchard this spring and they should produce between 3,000 to 4,000 pounds of grapes in their third year. We will produce our first “estate “ wine from these grapes in a couple years as we continue to grow and evolve. We will open for apple season on August 26th (Apples, Honey, Cider and Wine) so mark it on your calendar and plan on visiting us.

Spring Update from the Orchard! The weather has been in the 70’s this week and the Orchard is bursting with energy that only spring can awaken, Trees are starting to bud out, bees are taking to the air to collect pollen, the winery is undergoing remodeling with wine and Hard Cider in production. We will again open for apple season the last week of August so mark it on your calendar. Cassopolis, Michigan
