Free Swarm Removal. Fee for established Hive cutouts

This is the kinda stuff my husband sends me.

Cory sent me this once he sealed up the hives with screen. He decided to bring a frame of "wonkey comb" we had been snacking on to give them a "new target" and decided he needed one more spoon of honey. Looks like we are pulling double duty these next few cloudy days 😅.

July Edition of Bee Culture came with some fun surprises 😜

Someone I met at NAHBE this year and we became friends fast messaged me the other day that not one, not two, but THREE of her awesome photos were chosen to go in the magazine for it's patriotic special and I was so excited! I get to point at them and show all my bee friends, hey I know her! Kelly B

But then I open the mailbox today and flip through and see the photo I sent it was also put in the center group of pictures (I so badly want to say centerfold but it's a handful of pages away from true center 😂 )

Thennnn I go to take pictures to make this post and I realized that my photo was with 2 of Kelly's 😊 it's like they know we spent NAHBE hollering at each other "Hey Best Friend!"

When I saw this spider with its arms outstretched I instantly began singing Creed 😆

Yes we love our bees and they bring me an immense amount of joy but at the end of the day Cory and I are definitely just Entomology Nerds who love all the critters

When you've got family from Florida and Wisconsin both leaving soon and wanting to bring your honey home you snag a couple frames and do a quick tiny harvest

We are very pollinator friendly in our fields, at any given time there is always something in bloom.

Most people think we did it just for the bees.

But there is so much more you are helping and benefiting than just the honey bees. To say that I squealed like a school kid when I saw our monarch Caterpillar would be an understatement.

Yesterday was so busy that I didn't have the energy to share when we finally made it home.

I barely have the energy today but I'd like to see this in my memories at least somewhat close to when we did it 😊

When we get calls for bee trees I am straightforward and tell customers all of their options including how time consuming they are and why we do not offer them as a service very often for a standing tree.

This however was one of those we decide to make the time for. The tree was leaning over the customer's house a dangerous amount and he definitely needed it taken down. We had the pleasure of working with he got the tree taken down with the help of his crew just in time to find out how absolutely massive the hive was inside and get as far away from them as fast as he could.
See this particular gnome is deathly allergic to bees and knows that the closest hospital is a pretty good distance away when you are on the outskirts of town.

The tree was hollow 40 foot up the trunk but luckily these ladies haven't gone Godzilla tier crazy filling the entire tree yet but the biggest sheet of comb was 8foot long!
Yet another cut out where the colony was literally a good chunk bigger than the Tiny Bee Lady, we were surprised at how large they were for a wild hive.

Everyone got to take home a teeny bit of the honey from this tree and boy was it sweet.

The bees are now sitting in our quarantine yard ready to rest from the stress.

It is currently 69°F and cloudy.

Generally our really good weather days is when you see everyone making posts about swarms, between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. A swarm will cast off and go look for a new place.

HOWEVER, bees gunna do whatever the bees want to do.

If they are full and ready to go they will cast off even in weather that you would think, oh no it's too cloudy and windy they won't be too active today 😆 s**e.
