We are pleased to introduce our first Shire, Sudden Creek Shirley (Shirley to us) to the ROMA family of gentle giants! She traveled here all the way from Minnesota, where Christy Riley of Foggy Meadow Farm provided Shana and Devin the most wonderful Thanksgiving hospitality when they picked Shirley up to bring her to her new home.
Shire horses played an instrumental role pulling heavy artillery in both World Wars. Today they are an "at-risk" species, with fewer than 2000 estimated to exist in the entire world. We are honored and excited to have the opportunity to care for and love a beautiful member of this rare breed.

Budweiser knew they wanted to pay tribute to the victims of the attack and worked with Congress and Mayor Rudy Giuliani to find a way to film a tribute to honor those who had lost their lives.

Congratulations to Drs. Cole and Kim
Younger - 2019 Nash County Ag Business and Industry of the Year. Cole and Kim are a husband and wife team who own and operate Full Circle Mobile Veterinary Services in Red Oak, NC. Several Nash County Market vendors and the market manager use their services for their livestock. In addition, they both provide educational support to Nash County 4-H.

Thank you to all who remember Chance, who brought so much joy to our lives for 10 miraculous years. Two years after his passing, we still miss him, but we also still live the lesson he taught us....that every day is a gift and much can be done to make the world a better place within the time we have.

Hi all! Happy winter! We have enjoyed the snow...although it will soon be mud, which is not nearly as pretty. We are closed for our horses' annual winter vacation and tune up period and will reopen in the spring with the flowers...it will be posted here when we reopen.
