My two eldest boys had their First Holy Communion yesterday and they requested an ice cream cake. Chocolate brownie ice cream with Oreo crunchies. I also made chocolate covered Oreos.

Easy Peasy Valentine’s Day Dessert

Every year my husband and I swap who makes dinner and who makes dessert on Valentine’s Day. This year was his year to make dessert. He wasn’t sure what to make and our 11 year old wanted to help so I made up this dessert.

I don’t have a name for it so please feel free to help me out!

-Used a 9x13 container and placed Oreos on the bottom.
-Poured about 4oz of milk over all the cookies
-Layered thinly sliced strawberries on top
-placed in fridge for a couple of hours
-when ready to serve, added scoops of strawberry ice cream and choc ganache (heated choc chips in microwave then added half n half.
-crushed oreos on top

This was quick, easy, refreshing and rich! The six of us crushed the whole thing. My 6 year old had 4 (FOUR!) helpings!!
