Locally grown seasonal salad mix!
$5 a bag

It seemed like the best cool morning to harvest some gorgeous lettuce for mixes. Let us help with your dinner this week! πŸ₯—

This mix was freshly cut this morning with great care and love, it is colorful and full of flavor; nice mix of reds and greens; oakleaf, butter, sweet crisp and more.

I will be able to meet up with folks in Castle Rock and Longview Kelso today, tomorrow and Friday.

β€’β€’ Please comment here or send me a message with your order. If I don't respond promptly, it's because I'm away from my phone. But I will message you and coordinate time/ pick up or delivery asap.
As the season progresses, I will have pick-up days and times more dialed in.

Thank you!!

Let's talk about the herb Lovage.🌿

I have been growing lovage for eight years now, and I don't know what happened, but my lovage patch seemed to quadruple this year.
It is so happy, so healthy, so aromatic, and it's so ready to be cut and used in your recipes!

Leaves: Use fresh in salads or cooked in soups, stews, and sauces; they can be used as a substitute for celery.
We love lovage potato soup! We have added fresh lovage to popovers, added to coleslaw and potato salad. We've chopped and added to baked potatoes, added to egg dishes (egg bites...mmmm)

Stems: Can be blanched and used like celery stalks in stir-fries or salads.

Fun fact: the stems are hollow and make amazing natural straws for my bloody mary lovers.

I have large bunches of lovage available this week for $6. More than enough to use in whatever recipes your heart desires.

I am making deliveries this week to Castle Rock/Toutle and Longview/Kelso.
Please comment here or send me a message if you'd like to place an order!

Thank you! πŸ’š

I am taking salad mix orders for deliveries this week! How about a nice refreshing salad for dinner?

Hubbard Gardens seasonal salad mix $5 a bag.
This salad mix will be freshly harvested the morning of my deliveries and is colorful and full of flavor; mix of red and green; oakleaf, butter, sweet crisp and more.

(We had wilted lettuce salad with hot bacon dressing for dinner recently. It was SO GOOD!! I used 2 bags of our salad mix for this)

I will be able to meet up with folks in Castle Rock and Longview Kelso.

Went out early this morning to find my lettuce bed completely uncovered. Talk about panic. So happy the deer and rabbits didn't discover this last night when they were out doing their dirty work. 🀣

These lettuces will soon be seasonal salad mix! I am pretty proud of how they are looking. Also in this bed are over-wintered carrots coming back to life and looking so pretty.

Who else is looking forward to spring salad mix?!!

I'm going to give these at least a couple more weeks as they've just started to really take off.

Wishing everyone a great day. It's going to be beautiful!!β˜€οΈ

Countdown to Spring: 20 days!! 🌱

Today feels like spring; birds are singing and happy, and I am happy too. So excited for the upcoming season.

I'm working on all the garden spaces, one at a time, and gearing up for one heck of a year.

Dirty hands, happy heart. 🌱✌️

My bestie enjoyed her time outside with me today. If you're new here, this is Clementine, our old lady. She turned 10 last September, and last May on my 50th birthday, the vet let us know she has melanoma. Her cancer is spreading, and we're doing our best to help control her pain, and give her all the love. She's still the best garden helper. β™₯️

I pulled some winter carrots today to snack on. Winter food is so darn good!!

I hope everyone is doing well, and enjoying this last beautiful day before more rain.
