It is with a heavy heart we annouce that Solo has lost her calf. He was a very large calf for the breed and his birth was way more traumatic than we originally suspected and even with rapid intervention there was not much we could do to save him. It is suspected he was deprived of oxygen for too long during the birth which ultimately lead to complications no amout of intervention could change.
This loss is especially hard for a momma as great as Solo and a calf we were so excited to see.
