And just like that, a 7+ year hobby comes to an end. No more chickens. All my pens are empty and the birds are heading to Massachusetts. When I said I wished someone would just come get them all, my friend offered to do just that. She knew how overwhelmed I was getting and she stepped in to help. 🥰

Every time I want to just sell out of silkies I end up going in the barn and change my mind. I seriously need someone to just come and load them up before I can go in!! haha. Kidding but not kidding.

Expanded some of the pens today. Lots of empty ones. I like the main part because it has a wood stove for winter but I love them on the dirt and shavings in the extension more, so I’m always torn where to put them. Not an overwhelming amount left anymore but still some to cut back on.
