A picture is worth a thousand words. We’re often asked what signs we see of Soil Health working for us. It’s been 9 years since we have sprayed insecticide on this field. Since 2018 it has been oats/cover crop/grazed, corn, soybeans, winter wheat/cover crop, corn/cover crop, corn/cover crop, oats/cover crop/grazed, and now soybeans. Seeing these beneficial, aphid eating bugs; seeing dark green soybeans through the low ground that used to drown out even though it’s been the wettest year on record, just proves to us that the system is working.
