CHILL HOURS FOR OUR FRUIT TREES
Our blueberry trees have received some of the chill hours they need to set fruit. Chill hours refer to the number of hours a plant—typically fruit trees—spends in cold temperatures (usually between 32°F and 45°F) during dormancy.
Many plants, especially temperate fruit trees like apples, peaches, and cherries, require a certain number of chill hours to properly break dormancy and produce healthy blooms and fruit in the spring. Look forward to our blueberries this spring!
