Pacaberry Farm A family run farm nestled in the mountains of Southwest Virginia. We pride ourselves in alpacas and plants that are "raised right." Welcome to Pacaberry Farms!

It all started with a dream to own our own farm, our interest in knitting, and animals. Of course this combination led us to the luxurious wool and gentle minds of alpacas. We bought our first alpacas Solstice and Morgan in March 2008, and had our first alpaca cria (baby) in October 2008. We are establishing our farm in Catawba, VA. Please join in our adventures, as we create a self-sustaining alpaca farm...and who knows what other creatures may join us.

That's a wrap on Day 1 of the Virginia Fiber Fest at the August Expo Center AND Worldwide Knit and Crochet in Public Day! Donald managed to snag a picture of me casting on my socks in our booth today. 🧶

We are so glad we got to see our friends like .bags and make new fiber friends, too. 😊

Tomorrow is Day 2- 10am-3pm- It is indoors, air-conditioned with 75+ vendors. This is a Free and family friendly event.

World Wide Knit Crochet In Public Day

…yeah, I added the “C” in there for all my crocheters!

Whether you knit, crochet or spin…whatever your fiber hobby is join us for a day of fiber fun on the sidewalk this Saturday June 13th from 10am-4pm. Bring a chair (if it’s not too hot to sit outside), your project and let’s have some fun! If the temperature is unbearable we will be inside.

Bean Bliss Coffee Bar has their special menu…grab a drink or lunch—or do BOTH! I recommend the chicken salad myself!

Most people take a shower and get dressed before work. I do those things, but I also sprayed down the alpacas today, too. The temperature has suddenly jumped up to over 90 degrees. Magnolia was not sharing the water with Syrah. Everyone else was busy inside finishing breakfast, but I don't think she would have shared with them either. 😂
