I would like to share my Mom's quote from her speech at the press conference.

"You don't inherit the land, you borrow it from your children."

If you are a farmer that has children this statement rings true.
I am borrowing it from my boys.

I'll never stop improving it for them.
I'll never stop trying to make a difference.

I hope they always see that we never gave up...
I hope they see it's important to stand up for what you believe in.

Way to go AI, there's no way it DIDN'T know it was artificial flavors. That's straight up manipulating because it knows people would rather read the summary than the ingredient list. It knows "no artificial flavors" is important and trending right now...

This is why I don't trust AI summaries on Google and doing your own research is going to be more important if you want to truly find out information.

I truly believe it was a sign from above letting us know that what we do on this farm is meaningful.
A sign that not all farmers will be silenced.
A sign that our integrity has never faltered.
A sign that there is HOPE!

It was announced today that the judge has stopped all progress on this proposed industrial site nextdoor until the court hearing.

Today I did something, something I've NEVER been able to do. I didn't just let my parents carry the weight of speaking on behalf of our land, our animals and our heritage.

I spoke...
I was nervous, I felt nauseous and there were moments I didn't know if I could finish.

But I DID IT! I feel a weight lifted off of me that I've been carrying since January.

My words resonated.
My words meant something.
My words felt powerful.

I'll never forget this day, what it meant to me and what it means to those that will carry on this farm....

You might think you don't need our farms.
But YOU DO!

👩‍🌾 Harvest season is FINISHED! The corn was decent and about the same bushel number as last year. The soybeans that got flooded didn't do as great.

They say farmers are the biggest gamblers around and there is definitely truth to that.
We can't control the prices and we can't control the weather.

But still, we just do it.
Year after year, season after season.
It's not our job, it's our calling.
