Punkin surprised us on Halloween. Mom and baby are doing fine. He is running and pretending to buck. So cute but they are keeping me hopping. Carol

The 31 new chickens should start laying in July. The old ladies are laying about 12-15 a day. Let me know if you would like buy some or join the CAFE (Clemson Area Food Exchange). The garden is looking good with all the moisture this year. I planted tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, yellow squash, zucchini, green beans, okra and eggplant. Hopefully I won't have deer this year. I will keep you posted.

With all the crazy weather I thought I might ought to post something about Yardley Farms since we did not get blown away. It has been awhile but a lot of things have happen since 2013. I am the sole owner now. Chris helps me out with muscle stuff.
The three horses are here - Apachee, Mustang Sally and Dixie the quarter horse. Tadpole the goat passed away but I have a new goat who is almost one named Snowball. He was real cute when I got him last summer but he has horns that makes you be very careful around him.
The baby chicks of 2015 are old ladies now and have been moved to the garden chicken run. Some of the 27 are still laying beautiful big eggs which I sell on the CAFE (Clemson Area Food Exchange).
The new chicks are currently in the garden shed waiting on the repairs to the coop in the pasture. Chris and I better get busy because they are growing fast. They will start laying this summer.
I said goodbye to an very old hickory and an old oak tree because they were leaning too far over the "Chic House." Strange that they were planned to come down the very week that they could of come down on their own. I highly recommend Michael's Tree Service.
