We may have missed the last 2 shows of the year this weekend due to sickness and homecoming, but Kit and I didn’t let that stop us from riding all weekend anyway.. We missed you all, and are loving all the pics! Already looking forward to next season!! 🤠 🐴 ✌🏾

Had a Full circle moment today while at my lesson. A little over a year ago I met an amazing trainer, Vania Carr after being in over my head with a certain red mare. I was actually debating selling her after I had a few nasty falls. This time last year, I put on my boots and timidly lessoned with the brokest beginner horse at the barn. I was SOOO nervous 😬. A few lessons later, I was back on my red mare and we have grown into a wonderful partnership, (something I never thought was possible.)
This evening, I popped in to lesson, ( because there is ALWAYS something to learn!) Little did I know I’d be riding Rey, my amazing trainers cutting horse!! Once the nerves settled, I couldn’t stop smiling. She is all leg and the absolute best ride ever!! We even learned some neck reining tips that I cannot wait to try out on Kit tomorrow!

Moral of the story, small accomplishments will lead to great results! Never stop working on your riding abilities and being the best horseman you can be for your horse! Thank you Vania for your time, patience, and knowledge. You made my night!! 🥰🐴 🤠
