I’ll be there with samples of our wildflower honey and hot honey! It’s a beautiful day for a drive! Stop by Hosmer Winery for some wine tastings, live music, and shopping with local vendors.

You don’t wanna miss this Saturday afternoon of good tunes from Hot Dogs and Gin!!
Aug 15th from 1pm-4pm music will be playing and wine will be a-pourin’! Family friendly, bring the dog too!

They will play all of your favorite rock classics all afternoon! For those who have been long-time fans, this is one of their last shows before Eamonn goes on to COLLEGE!!!!!! So see him while you can!

After four years of no price changes, I’ve finally had to increase my prices. I try to keep my pricing comparable to other local beekeepers so that you, the customer, are able to purchase delicious local honey, pure and raw, at a reasonable price. With the cost of materials and equipment rising steadily over the last four years, it was time to adjust my prices.

New pricing went into effect as of August 1st. I’m a little behind in getting the word out, but prices will be as follows:

8 ounce $6
8 ounce hot $7
12 ounce $8
12 ounce hot $9

Things that can make a beekeeper cry…

I walked into the honey house tonight to fill an order for a customer only to find that one of the pails we just extracted had cracked its bottom, allowing about three gallons of honey to leak out all over the floor. 🤦🏼‍♀️🤷‍♀️

I was afraid of bees but I wanted to impress my new boyfriend so I jumped in as the behind the scenes photographer when he got his first package of bees. He wanted to keep two hives-enough to make honey for gifting to friends and relatives at holidays. I handed him the tools and took pictures. A year later I decided to try having a hive of my own. Eleven years and 34 hives later (and counting) the boyfriend is now my husband and we are looking to expand up to 50 hives within the next year or two. I never would have thought this would be something I got interested in, but here I am.

Shout out to my friend Julia Anthonson for printing these stunning beehives for me. The quality is unbelievable! I love how cute and tiny the entrance reducers came out. I’ll be sure to use these in the future for demonstrations of how to set up the hive, what to look for in a hive, and how to split a hive.
