Lochan Mor Farm raises and breeds Colored Angora Goats and the following sheep: Leicester Longwool, Romeldale CVM, Romney, Shropshire and Blue Faced Leicester with a few angora bunnies in the mix.

Funny discovery this morning! Those who know me well, know that I am totally obsessed with my family genealogy. Almost all of my family were farmers, with a few machinists thrown in for good measure, along with surveyors, go figure!😂 Most also kept a handful of sheep according to census records. This morning’s nugget, my Grandpa Loomis who was born in 1590 in Essex, England immigrated to Hartford, Connecticut and was a Wool Draper and farmer, very neat!! 🥰

Here we have Rambouillet, Romney, Leicester Longwool, Cotswold, Mohair, Romeldale CVM and a custom sock recipe that Andrew helped us create with our fibers that included some Cheviot from Rebecca P!😍
