My Grandpa Willie Crabtree used to grow the best Black Diamond watermelons in Dawson. These aging, yellowed photos keep the memory of my Dad giving me my first bite of solid food, and sharing one of Grandpa’s watermelons. Love at first bite. Thanks Mom for snapping these pix so long ago. 🍉❤️

This has been a fantastic year for cucumbers for us. We’ve been picking about 15-20 lbs a day or 40lbs every 2 days. By the time I’m done canning them, it’s time to go pick again. They won’t last forever tho. Just another week or two and they’ll be done. 💚

Wow! We had a huge crowd on Saturday! We sold out of watermelon fast this weekend. Sorry if you did not get a watermelon but you have another chance this Saturday! 🍉🍉
