🌭🥨🍺 SUBVERSIVE OKTOBERFEST 2026! 🍺🥨🌭

The SIXTH ANNUAL SUBVERSIVE OKTOBERFEST is coming up in just over two weeks on SATURDAY, OCTOBER 17TH!

⚒️ We’ll release our MOUNTAIN MÄRZEN on draft and in cans and will tap a traditional German gravity keg!
🎺🪗 Z BRASS POLKA BAND will be taking over the B**r Garden from 3–6 PM!
🍺 Our annual STEINHOLDING CONTEST will kick off at 4 PM!
👹 And when the band wraps up, THE L***R GOBLIN will emerge to keep the party going with traditional German music, modern European dance music & more!

And, of course, we’ll have a whole bunch of German-inspired food specials (in addition to our regular menu) including:

THE SUBVERSIVE SIP & DIP – This Weekend Only! 🥖🍺🤿

Chef Mike has been wanting to put this one on the menu for a long time!

This weekend’s special is a classic French Dip sandwich — Angus beef roasted medium rare, sliced thin, piled high on a roll with caramelized onions and provolone cheese, and served with a cup of our house-made jus!

But why just dip when you can Sip & Dip?

Grab a French Dip with fries or a house side salad for twenty bucks, and while you’re at it, add any draft b**r for just five dollars for the full Sip & Dip experience!

Available all weekend long, or while supplies last. Come help us sell out so we’ll let Mike put his beloved French Dip into our regular specials rotation!

SUMMER AIN’T OVER QUITE YET 🦈 ☀️

Join Us TONIGHT for a couple of pints of our brand new Hazy Pale Ale, Off Axis, featuring all Southern Hemisphere hops atop a base of 100% local grains—and paired with a special screening of JAWS courtesy of Story Screen 🎞! The movie is FREE and kicks off around 7:30. We’ll be keeping the bar open late and slinging drinks for the duration of the film. The kitchen will be taking orders until around 8:15–and we whipped up another batch of house made ice cream sandwiches.

Dinner, a movie, AND dessert? Oh, and plenty of b**r of course! We’ll see ya there! ✌️

Our beloved GOLDEN LIME L***R releases today, on draft and in cans to go, as part of our kickoff to Summerfest!

This ultra-crushable summer l***r is brewed with 100% New York grown grains, and freshly fruited with Calamansi citrus juice & zest, greenhouse grown in New Jersey by Flavors by Bhumi (and hand juiced and zested by us!). It’s our riff on the classic combo of l***r with lime, using fresh, Northeast grown citrus.

Calamansi—AKA the Philippine Lime or The Golden Lime—is a citrus resembling a small, round lime, with an orange skin and a sour, tangerine-colored juice. A longtime staple of Filipino and Southeast Asian cuisine, the fruit is known to possess a tart flavor that’s reminiscent of a combination of lemon, lime and orange!

GOLDEN LIME L***R is one of our most-beloved summer offerings by staff and customers alike, and we only make it once a year—so when it’s gone it’s gone!

SUDACHI SAISON & FREE SCREENING OF RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK TONIGHT!

Not every adventure ends with a golden idol... Sometimes it starts with a pint of Sudachi Saison!

Bright, refreshing, with a little pop of Japanese sudachi citrus, it’s the perfect b**r to enjoy during tonight’s FREE screening of Raiders of the Lost Ark at 8 PM on an 8’ BIG SCREEN in the b**r garden courtesy of Story Screen 🎞

A draft only exclusive, Sudachi Saison is our house saison (AKA “Subversive Saison”) blended with Japanese sudachi juice, and a hint of freshly-zested buddha’s hand citrus from yus. There’s just a couple barrels’ worth, and its already moving fast!

It’s also your last weekend to get our June Burger of the Month: The Knickerbocker Burger—basically a classic New York style bacon, egg, and cheese, with a couple of smashed Kilcoyne Farms beef patties and our Subversive sauce.
