We’re having a major heat wave in NY this week! ☀️🔥

If you are a bun owner, keep a close eye on them. Rabbits cannot sweat and temps above 85 can cause a lot of harm!!

On our homestead, we are :
•Providing lots of fresh cold water every few hours
•Have a fan running constantly to keep them cool
•Providing lots of cold veggies for extra hydration & as a fun treat to keep them happy

Our last holland lop baby was dropped off to his forever home 🥹

It’s always bitter sweet when these babies leave my hands but every single bun these last few litters has gone to such amazing homes. All the updates and photos from the families makes my day so much 🫶🏻

We will be taking a break from breeding and will pick things back up end of Summer!

Our Maple girl had an unfortunate trip to the vet today and was diagnosed with wry neck 😢

Wry neck is a serious neurological condition that causes the head to tilt to one side, often affecting balance and coordination. Often times it’s curable, but there are cases of a permanent head tilt.

Thankfully, she is acting completely normal otherwise. While we have lots of unanswered questions regarding this diagnosis, she has been put on some meds that will hopefully get her back to normal 🤍

This handsome little guy came from Magg's Holland Lops in PA. Evren is a 10 week old sable point buck and I am obsessed. I can’t wait to watch him grow and see what he brings to the rabbitry. 🐰
