The dust has settled on our 31st Annual “Genetics for the Future” production sale and our first time hosting it at the farm.
Mother Nature made travel very difficult that day but thanks to an amazing sale crew and the dvauction staff the sale was held and it was a smashing success!!!
We want to thank everyone who purchased, bid, showed interest, offered kind words or came by for local support!! You are all very appreciated!!!

Vaughn Farms Limousin held their 31st annual "Genetics for the Future" Bull Sale February 18, at the farm near Cavalier, North Dakota. After 30+ years of hosting their sale off the farm in Bismarck and Napoleon, ND, Vaughns moved their sale home. A winter blast blew through the area the night before the sale but it didn't dampen any spirits as a good crowd braved the weather and roads and a huge crowd online made their presence known! Tom & Rita Vaughn, along with their sons David & Craig, and their families, raise muscular, high performance Limousin cattle designed for terminal crossbreeding on commercial cows. Disposition, stayability and a focus on the "momma cow" are hallmarks of their operation. Congratulations to the Vaughn family on a great sale-at HOME-on a not so nice weather day!
