I’ve been sick with China virus…. Checked cows daily…but didn’t check water.
Checked all water troughs today found one…. Disgustingly dirty with manure!!!! Drained it. Rinsed it and refilled it. O my god!!!!!! It was bad!!! They had 4 other troughs that were ok. I am thankfull. I love my cows and babies!!!
And I Couldn’t smell it!

Nice heiffer calf born on this hot, dry day here in Arkansas. Sure thankful she chose a shady area and calf is so strong and healthy! Not much left for grazing here.
We need rain badly. Pray for 🌧.
(Only 3 more to calve, such a small herd if you call it that)

I have 4 cows and one steer left here. Should see calves in a couple months on couple of the cows.
They are slowly getting used to me being close to them.
Definetly a lot easier to manage for me!

Two weeks later, it’s soooo quiet here. I kept 4 cows, couldn’t sell them all. I’ll post some pictures when they will cooperate with me. None of them are Hereford’s. They are moved up closer and have plenty of grass. 😀

Yes, another load to sale barn. Had good weather today and it was pretty dry too!
