Happy Saturday! ☀️

While Mother Nature didn’t always cooperate, we took advantage of the rainy days by tackling plenty of maintenance projects around the farm. From equipment repairs to routine upkeep, there’s always something that needs to be done to keep things running smoothly.

Now we’re hoping for some sunshine so we can get back in the fields and keep 2nd cutting rolling! ☀️🌾

2nd cutting is underway! 🌱🚜

Yesterday marked the start of 2nd cutting as we got out and started chopping before the rain moved in.

Now we’re waiting for the weather to cooperate. Once the sun comes back out and field conditions allow, we’ll be back at it to finish up 2nd cutting.

And maybe—just maybe—it’ll stay dry long enough for us to make some dry hay too. 😉☀️🌾

Let’s talk antibiotics in milk 👇🏻

A common question we get is: “Does milk from cows treated with antibiotics go into the tank?”

Nope!

If a cow needs antibiotics, her milk is withheld and discarded until the required withdrawal period is complete. Before milk is processed, every load is tested for antibiotic residues. If a load were to test positive, it would be rejected and never enter the food supply.

Happy Saturday! ☀️

It’s warm and sunny outside, but our cows couldn’t care less. They’ve got fans blowing, fresh water on demand, and an endless buffet that requires almost no effort to get to.

No mowing the lawn. No grocery shopping.
No paying bills.

Honestly... on days like this, I really wish I was a cow 🐄 😂

🌟Spring Internship Spotlight: Izabella🌟

This spring semester, Izabella joined us as a herd management intern, and as her time with us comes to an end today, we want to thank her for all of her hard work throughout the semester, she was always ready to learn, lend a hand, and step up when something needed to be done. Her positive attitude and dedication made her a great addition to our team 🤍

We're grateful for everything she contributed during her internship and know she has a bright future ahead. It's been great having her on the farm, and we're excited to see where her journey takes her next as she heads to SUNY Morrisville in the fall!

Thank you, Izabella, for being part of our team this spring. We wish you all the best in your next chapter! 🐮🚜🌱
