🐄👅 Did you know? A cow’s tongue is rough, strong, and surprisingly long!

Their tongue helps them grab and move their feed around while they eat. And if you’ve ever been licked by a cow, you know they definitely don’t feel smooth! 😂

It’s kind of like getting licked by a giant, rough piece of sandpaper 😅

Happy Saturday! ☀️

Making do with what we’ve got around here… running the social media pages while also being part of the harvest team isn’t for the weak… getting good content while driving a truck is a little tricky! 🚜📸

So sometimes you just have to work with what you get! 😆

Once our calves are weaned off milk, they take their next big step and move into a group pen! 🐄💚

Here, they get to learn how to socialize, make new friends, and adjust to life with other calves. They have unlimited grain, high-quality hay, and the freedom to go both inside and outside as they grow. 🌾☀️

It’s a big transition for these little ones, but they’re off to a great start! 🐮

Just because hay is done doesn’t mean things slow down around here! 🌾➡️🌽 We’re in FULL swing getting ready for corn harvest, and BUSY is an understatement!

Now we’re just hoping for the perfect corn moisture and some good weather to get started… maybe sometime within the next week? 😉🌽
