🌸 Spring 2026 is on the way, and so are our first pasture-raised chickens! 🌸

We’re excited to open pre-orders for our very first spring batch of pasture-raised whole chickens here at Nokie Farms. These birds will be raised outdoors on fresh pasture, rotated regularly, and grown the way we believe food should be—no shortcuts, just good care and fresh air.

🐔 What you can expect:
• Pasture-raised meat birds
• Rotated regularly on fresh grass
• Fresh, whole Cornish Cross chickens
• Average size: 4–6 lb

📍 Pickup: Tazewell Farmers Market

🔔 Limited first batch: Only 50 birds available, and pre-orders will close once spots are filled.

💰 Pre-order details:
A $25 deposit per bird reserves your spot, with the remaining balance due at pickup based on final weight.

We are TWO WEEKS away from the Farmer Veteran Fellowship Fund application opening! The application will open on January 5, 2026 and will close on February 17, 2026.

We will also be hosting a webinar on January 15th with Center for Farm Financial Management (CFFM) to go over the application process and how CFFM's AgPlan can help you with the business plan portion of the application.
