INTRODUCTION

After 7 years of The Soda Nerd, we are ready for a new adventure. We have loved providing Cedar City with the best custom sodas around. Our employees have been the heart and soul of The Soda Nerd! We will cherish the relationships we built on the campus of SUU. We are grateful to be a part of the Johnson Art Center!

While we have loved it, we are tired. We have felt strongly for some time that a fresh approach could revitalize The Soda Nerd and be profitable. Our kids have all worked here, and we have loved the life skills they have acquired but now our kids are grown.


THE OPPORTUNITY

As a part of Cedar City’s downtown, with over 440 loyalty customers, there is a tremendous opportunity to grow the business. The Soda Nerd has built a reputation for excellent drinks, floats, shave ice, hot drinks, smoothies and salty treats. From date night to a hot day, to a cold day, many happy memories are made at The Soda Nerd! Located within a block of Utah Shakespear Festival and SUU, within walking distance to dozens of businesses, some of whom take drink orders for their whole crew most days, as well as being in the middle of all downtown events, parades, farmers’ markets, etc., marketing opportunities abound. Other potential avenues for marketing are the many camps, events, and competitions held in Cedar City.


EVOLUTION

While currently configured as a soda shop, the downtown location would lend itself well to a bakery, a coffee shop, a small deli, or to a food truck owner seeking a more permanent location. Come take advantage of this established location with your own business idea!

We know this works, because we ran a successful deli inside the library on SUU’s campus for several years, gaining a reputation for sliders, custom sandwiches, and soups.


THE ASSETS

For the full purchase price of $60K, you get all of the equipment and appurtenances of the soda shop, equipment necessary to equip a food truck or trailer, t-shirt printing equipment, and the Soda Nerd name and reputation to help guarantee your success. Books available on request.
