Hey locals, we have farm fresh eggs available for $5/dozen!

We have both washed and unwashed and you’re welcome to specify which you prefer. The unwashed are stored on the counter top and the washed are stored in the fridge.

Our first goat show is officially on the books!

We had a great time at the Beehive Dairy Goat Association “Dynamite Does” show this weekend. I took Riot (Cedar Brooks Ranch HowFarIllGo) and Nix (Jan’s Rocking M Silver Lace). Both girls behaved very well in all the unfamiliar chaos and both consistently placed middle-ish in their rings against some really impressive competition. Nix even got 6th in one of her rings!

The judge feedback was invaluable, I got to meet more awesome goat people, got to see some really stunning dairy goats of all breeds, and we got to watch our friends at Cedar Brooks Ranch not only get their first grand champion ribbons, but also a Best In Show! 🎉 I even got to help show a full size Nubian in two of her rings 😆

We will definitely be doing more of these, because I am absolutely jealous of the ribbons 🤣

Life has been so busy I haven’t had a chance to introduce our new addition. Meet Rising Light Ranch Untamed - or Ember as we have taken to calling her.

This girl is thicker than a Snickers (and polled!) and we are very excited for what she will bring to our herd in the future 🤩

I just signed two of our girls up for their (and my) first show!

BDGA is hosting a fuzzy show May 8th-9th, and we're officially gonna be there!

That also means that if anyone has been eyeing any of our kids, but you've felt like you're too far north to get one, they can definitely hitch a ride up 😉 Just saying.

We have officially picked which kids will be retained this season, which means we have babies available and looking for new homes! There are doelings, wethers, and potentially even bucklings that can go intact to the right herd. We also have a yearling doe available who has been confirmed pregnant by our buck, Milkyway, if you're looking for a nice little "starter pack" 😉
